The Downtown Management District and CITGO have partnered together to bring back the nostalgia of what was once Peppermint Lane.
DMD’s Executive Director Alyssa Barrera says, it was really important to bring back some of the holiday cheer.
And what better way then to host a series of events throughout the holiday season?
Beginning on Saturday, the DMD is asking for volunteers to help put up garland and bows on poles throughout Chaparral. Barrera says volunteers will get a free t-shirt and need to sign up quickly. You can do that here.
In addition to holiday decorating, there will be a business showdown for ‘Battle of the Bulbs,’ where businesses will compete for different categories.
On November 24th, there will be a Holiday Celebration to show off the new revitalized Peppermint Lane.
Then the last event will take place December 7th, for the December ArtWalk Holiday Market, where the DMD will also have the award ceremony for Battle of the Bulbs!
