CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Blood Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary with several upcoming events.
Ashley Ramirez describes some of the plans with Juan Acuña from La Palmera Mall.
They will discuss “Soctober,” where all donors will receive breast-cancer-themed socks.
They also will end the month with a Spooktacular Celebration from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at the center, 209 N. Padre Island Drive.
