Benefit concert for the family of local magician Valdino

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Local musicians and entertainers have come together to support the family of Valdino, a local magician who died in a car accident recently.

Valdino, whose real name was Orlando Valdez, was killed in a traffic accident near San Marcos on Nov. 14.

Valdez and a passenger were fatally injured when their vehicle was hit by a dump truck.

As Valdino, Orlando Valdez became known for his performances and balloon art that benefited local charities and non-profits.

The concert benefiting his families expenses starts at 4 p.m. at Brewster Street Ice House.

The live music will include Clarissa Serna, Chicas Rock Music Camp, Cruise Control Band, & Will Rhodes.

You can donate to Lily Padz Face Painting who will be face painting on site, CASA of the Coastal Bend Superheroes will be on-site taking photos, and Lucky The Clown will be creating balloon animals for the kids in Val Dino's honor.

All donations will be accepted to help Val Dino family with expenses, but admission is free.
