CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If your dog looks good in a costume this event is for you.
Join Thomas J. Henry attorneys this weekend as they raise money and awareness for local pet initiatives.
They have teamed up with Peewee's Pet Adoption, Pals Animal Shelter, and Gulf Coast Humane Societyto bring this unique family friendly event to downtown Corpus Christi.
There will be a kids zone for the youngsters, a pet expo and adoption drives for the doggos, and a Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest for cash prizes!
It all takes place at Water's Edge Park this Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4 pm to 9 pm. The address is 602 South Shoreline, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
The 8th annual event is totally free and open to the public; but you have to pre-register for the pet costume contest.
