CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Our beaches are cleaner thanks to the Adopt-A-Beach cleanup here in the Coastal Bend.
This was the 33rd consecutive year for the event in Corpus Christi, which staged the first event of its kind in the nation in 1986.
Volunteers were prepared with hats, sunscreen, and reusable gloves to clean up beaches in different coastal areas.
