There still is time to register for “The Birdiest Festival in America.”
It’s being held right here in our part of the Coastal Bend.
Denise Housler and Dr. Michael Womack of the Botanical Gardens and Nature Center discuss the upcoming event with Maclovio Perez from our set at La Palmera Mall.
The event will be from April 24-28 at the gardens, 8545 S. Staples St. Among the events include nature walks, photography events and raptor shows. On April 27, live music and food trucks will be a part of the Saturday festivities.
