America’s Got Talent contestant to perform with the CCSO

The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra will present an evening featuring Mozart, Mexico and The World at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center. 

Maestro Hector Guzman will lead the CCSO through performances of The Magic Flute Overture (Mozart), Selections from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 (Greig), El Salon Mexico (Copeland) and Sinfonia India (Chavez).

Special guest operatic soprano Barbara Padilla of America’s Got Talent. She will sing “Songs from Mexico and the World,” including selections from Mozart, Verdi and Puccini, as well as melodies from Mexico and much more.

This performance will take place at the school’s Performing Arts Center, 6300 Ocean Drive.
