This Fourth of July, Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi will host its second annual "Red White and Blues" festival, inviting visitors to stop by for live music and festivities.
For its second year, the waterpark will host blues artists from all over the Coastal Bend on its Veranda Patio alongside other fun activities, and of course, the now fully-opened park itself.
"We brought in artists from all over the Coastal Bend, who really, their genre of music is playing the blues," Amy Gazin, with Schlitterbahn, described. "So basically, from 11 in the morning ’til 8 at night, there’s going to be live music in our waterpark to celebrate our nation’s birthday. So we’re really excited about that."
The celebration rounds out in the evening with a viewing party of Padre Island’s fireworks display. That viewing party is open to the public.
