Need a reason to visit Port Aransas this weekend? Then consider checking out the 13th annual Artfest.
Sponsored by the Port Aransas Art Center and the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce, Artfest will once again showcase a variety of items, including original paintings and drawings, as well as pottery, photography, glass art, shell art and jewelry. There will also be wood carvings and sculptures made of various materials.
Guests are invited to stroll through the artist booths while listening to music by Jack Grant, Robbie and Teresa Owens and others.
There will also be food and beverages available from vendors like The Hot Dog Lady, Granny’s Tamales, and the Chillin’ & Grillin’ food truck.
Artfest is happening Saturday, May 26th from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday, May 27th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Jerry McDonald Field (Avenue C & Alister Street).
