Our Pet of the Week comes to us from Corpus Christi Animal Care Services, and she is a truly loveable pup!

At only 7 months of age, Wilma has already learned how to get along well with both humans and other animals. This black and tan Gordon Setter mix seems to enjoy going on walks and does well on a leash. She might very well be an excellent choice to be adopted by a family who is ready to take on the responsibility of a pet!

Once the adoption fee is paid and the paperwork is filled out for Wilma, she will be put on the schedule to be spayed. Many of the animals available for adoption from CCACS, however, have been "green-sleeved," which simply means they are ready to go immediately upon approval.

To learn more about adopting any of the animals at CCACS, just drop by 2626 Holly Road Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM. You are welcome to bring your children or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with any animal you may be thinking of taking home.

Please note that Animal Care Services will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th.
