Superhero, gaming, anime and comic fans all met up in Corpus Christi for the third Rec-Con event.
Rec-Con is an anime and gaming convention hosted by Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation department held every six months.
At Saturday’s event, over at Joe Garza Recreation Center, more than 400 local fans turned out, many dressed as their favorite characters.
The event featured performances, dance, magic shows, video game tournaments, food and free activities. It aims to highlight local recreation centers.
