If you recognize our Corpus Christi Animal Care Services Pet of the Week, you might want to give the owner a call. If not, then think about adopting her and giving her a new home!

Harley is about a year old. The Rat Terrier mix was brought in as a stray and has a very "inquisitive" nature. She is playful and curious when on the ground, but once you pick her up, Harley sits quietly and takes in all of the petting one can give! Her gentle ways make her a good candidate to become the newest member of a loving family.

Once the adoption fee is paid and the paperwork is filled out for Harley, she will be scheduled to be spayed — a procedure will be performed before she is allowed to move in to her new home. That is not the case, however, for all of the animals available for adoption. Some are "green-sleeved," which means they are ready to go immediately upon approval.

To learn more about adopting any of the animals at CCACS, just drop by 2626 Holly Road Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM. You are welcome to bring your children or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with any animal you may be thinking of taking home.
