An armada of food trucks will make its way back to downtown Corpus Christi this Saturday for the third annual Food Truck Festival.

Over on North Shoreline Blvd. downtown, the Corpus Christi Food Truck Festival will feature live music, a kids truck zone, face painting, arts and crafts vendors and, of course, plenty of food trucks.

In its third year, the festival offers free admission, though you’ll have to pay individual vendors.

"You have to remember that the quality of food that these trucks serve is gourmet," John Garcia, a festival organizer, described. "It isn’t a quick process and they can’t serve unlimited quantities."

The festival aims to promote and celebrate Corpus Christi and its wide variety of foods while providing a place where families can go and have a good time together.
