Got a taste for some seafood? If so, then be sure to make room on your calendar for the 10th Annual Bernie’s Famous Crawfish Boil.

The event features flavors from the bayou, including all-you-can-eat crawfish, shrimp and sausage, along with an open bar. There will also be both live and silent auctions, and Texas Country Music provided by John Eric Hernandez.

This annual gathering is the Del Mar College Foundation’s signature event to help to raise funds for scholarships for Del Mar College students. Last year, the DMC Foundation awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships to more than 1,500 Del Mar College students. Over the past nine years, the Foundation has provided over 11,000 scholarships to assist students in achieving their dreams.

Currently, the DMC Foundation is accepting applications through April 30th for scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Individual tickets are $200 per person, and table/scholarship sponsorships start at $1,500 for tables of eight.

The deadline to purchase tickets/RSVP is Monday, April 9th. You may call (361) 698-1317 or email foundation@delmar.edu. You may also buy tickets online at www.delmar.edu/foundation.

Bernie’s Famous Crawfish Boil is happening Thursday, April 12th at the Concrete Street Old Market Pavilion from 5:30 to 9:30 PM.
