CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Community Foundation will host a Community Day at the Texas State Aquarium from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, discounting admission to $2 for everyone over 2 years old. Children under 2 are free.
Parking is included in the price of admission, which gives visitors access to all the aquarium's exhibits and a 4D film called "Smallfoot 4D." Because discounted days such as Community Day bring more people to the aquarium, regular presentations and visitor programs will not be provided.
Funds raised through admission on Community Day will stay at the aquarium and will be put toward daily operations including animal care, staff and conservation and rescue efforts.
