CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Skies remain cloudy over the Coastal Bend this afternoon as persistent onshore flow keeps low-level Gulf moisture in place across the region.
Overhead, a plume of significant jet-stream-related moisture is maintaining a shroud of middle- and high-level clouds.
Doppler radar indicates showers in the area, but very little of that is actually reaching the ground. A slightly better chance of showers appears for your Tuesday as a weak disturbance moves close to the South Texas area, but the next rain chance won't be until Friday and the weekend. Even then, the upper level low giving us the rain chance will weaken as it moves through the area. Rainfall totals will not be sufficient to impact Spring Break activities, and no significant temperature changes are in store. Expect less than a quarter inch of rain, with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. Lows will remain in the middle to upper 60s.
