CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An overnight house fire leaves a family of five displaced.
Flames broke out just after 10:00pm at a home on Veda Drive in the Annaville area. Fire fighters say flames were shooting through the roof when they arrived on scene.
Fire fighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and nobody was injured. The home is being called a total loss and Red Cross will be assisting the family.
At this time there is no word on what sparked the fire.
