Update 7:45 pm: All lanes of travel on HWY 358 EB are now open. Police officers told the driver that struck the man he would be o.k.
Corpus Christi police are shutting down highway lanes after a man was struck by a vehicle.
The crash happened just after 6:45 pm Saturday on the freeway near the intersection of S.P.I.D. and Greenwood Road.
Because of the crash, police are shutting down lanes due to an investigation. Police advise to avoid the area if possible.
There is no word on the man's condition.
