Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will reopen at 9 a.m. following a lockdown at nearby Naval Air Station -Corpus Christi this morning.
The university issued a "code blue" warning students to avoid the university this morning after a man reportedly made his way onto the base on foot. He has since been caught.
The university asked students to shelter in place if they live on campus, and to avoid the campus if they didn't.
