CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Finally a break in the heat wave with a rather active weather pattern this week.
First, the ridge of high pressure has moved west. And secondly, a rare July cool front is moving into the state.
All this will combine to give us a good chance of showers this week.
Today, we could see isolated showers. Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll see a few heavy showers as the cool front stalls in the region. More showers expected over the weekend.
