CORPUS CHRISTSI, Texas — It was a sad day for many CCISD employees and staff as they were told a long-time employee died due to COVID-19 complications.
The family of Librado “Lee” Navarro Jr., who worked for CCISD for over 20 years, passed away Tuesday Dec. 29, 2020.
His daughter tells KRIS 6 News he was most recently employed at Metro Elementary School of Design as a custodian.
Navarro was hospitalized on Nov. 2, 2020.
He leaves behind a wife of 41 years and a daughter.
