We have an update on a story we brought you last night about 79-year-old Daniel "Corky" Jones.
He's the Aransas Pass man who contracted an infection from the flesh-eating bacteria vibrio.
Jones' family tells us he was released from the hospital today.
He had been at Bay Area Medical Center since last Monday.
Jones became infected when he cut his hand during a fishing trip off Ransom Island in Aransas Pass.
He was allowed to go home after doctors found no more traces of vibrio in his system.
