CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Vice-Chair of the Corpus Christi Port Commission does not have a college degree, despite claiming on the Port of Corpus Christi website that he graduated from Penn State University.

Wayne Squires' bio says he is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering.

However, according to the Penn State records department, Wayne Squires attended PSU from the fall of 1973 to the fall of 1979. He was last enrolled in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Program and he did not graduate.

We'll have reaction from the Port of Corpus Christi tonight on KRIS 6 News at 5.
