Windsor Park third-graders had a chance to show off their political chops today at City Hall.

As part of their "Show Who You Are" International Baccalaureate Planner, they conducted a mock city council meeting during their visit. The big question up for debate today -- "Should Corpus Christi enhance and develop North Beach?"

Students have been learning about how their decisions can affect their communities, and how, as citizens, they have the right to be involved politically and enact meaningful change. Their teacher thought this would be a great opportunity for the kids to learn hands-on.
