A fast-moving small storm system in the Hill country will race eastward and bring clearing skies and more cold air for the Coastal Bend tonight.
A freeze warning is in effect until 9 am Friday and a wind chill warning is in effect until 7 a.m..
Tonight, slow clearing breezy and colder with a record low of 24 and wind chill as low as 12.
Friday will be much better with sunny skies light winds and noticeably warmer with a high of 54.
Friday night will be clear nearly calm and chilly but not as cold with a low of 32.
Saturday will also be sunny and warmer, but we will have a late day breeze and a high of 65.
