CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A weak dome of surface high pressure extending from the Ozarks southwest across Central Texas will maintain dry northeasterly flow into the Coastal Bend through the weekend. That will mean sunny and warm afternoons with clear and mild nights. As the system moves into the Deep South midweek, Gulf moisture will slowly return and give a few coastal rain showers. Isolated showers will be able to move more inland Thursday and Friday as moisture deepens over the region. Rainfall totals will be modest, however. Highs will remain in the lower 90s, with lows in the lower to middle 70s.
