CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Courtesy of a Pacific cold front, cooler air has moved into the Coastal Bend and the high humidity and clouds have been driven out.

We'll have a couple of very nice, near-seasonal days as we close out the work week with highs in the 60s and cold mornings in the 30s and 40s.

Our next cold front and storm system is already taking shape way out in the northern Pacific and is forecast to arrive here on Sunday with plenty of wind, scattered to numerous showers and another round of colder temperatures.

Travel to the northern parts of the state may be tricky as some forecast models are depicting some significant snowfall. Keep a close eye on the forecast if you have travel plans in northern parts of the state over the weekend.

For today in the Coastal Bend, look for a high of 68 with a breezy north-northwesterly winds around 10-20 mph with lots of sunshine.

Tonight will be clear and cold along with lighter winds and a low of 39.

Friday, the winds will relax some and we'll still see mainly clear skies and high of 64.

Look for clouds to increase beginning on Saturday with showers increasing late in the day and into Sunday morning as the next front begins to push in. Some locations could pick up over half an inch to an inch of rainfall.

Have a great day!
