CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With the remnants of Imelda moving only slowly northward in east Texas our weather has been stuck in a breezy to windy and unusually hot humid weather pattern with little to no rainfall here while East Houston to Beaumont has seen 20-40 inches of devastating flooding rains. Only slight changes expected here over the weekend.

Tonight will be hazy breezy warm and stuffy with a low of 79.

Friday expect hazy sunshine rather windy with stifling heat and a high of 94 but a heat index of 110 outside of isolated mainly inland showers.

Friday night will be mostly cloudy still breezy warm and stuffy with a low of 78.

Saturday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine not as windy with isolated showers near the coast in the morning moving inland during the afternoon and a high of 92.
