CORPUS CHRISTI — An unusual late season cold front pushed through the area earlier this evening with scattered thundershowers. Most of the city did not get much as advertised due to the lack of atmospheric instability near the coast. The Refugio area did pick up about two inches of badly needed rain. A very weak disturbance will overrun the front from the southwest and bring some additional showers to the area overnight after midnight. Rainfall will be heavier west and south of Corpus Christi

Tonight expect scattered showers windy and much cooler with a low of 63.

Saturday showers will end in the morning but remaining mostly cloudy to cloudy breezy and much cooler that Friday with a high of only 75.

Saturday night we will have a fresh breeze partial clearing and cool with a low of 62.

Sunday-Mother's Day, decreasing cloudiness with some afternoon sunshine, low humidity and nice with a high near 80.

Enjoy your weekend.
