CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a rather pleasant start to our holiday weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw abundant sunshine today with an afternoon high of 80 degrees. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies and a little milder temperatures. Look for an overnight low around 65 degrees. Easter Sunday will bring us more sunshine and gusty winds. Expect a daytime high tomorrow around 84 degrees. The winds will be picking up out of the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour.
We will see increasing clouds and humidity for the first part of the workweek. The windy weather will also stick with us. There is a pretty good chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. A weak cold front will push a lot of the moisture out of here for the latter half of the week. Daytime highs will remain in the low to mid 80’s with overnight lows in the 60’s and 70’s.
