CORPUS CHRISTI – It is going to be a pretty nice start to holiday weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Look for plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures in the mid 80 this afternoon. It will also be a bit breezy. The winds will be shifting to the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight the forecast calls for mostly clear skies and a little milder temperatures. Expect an overnight low around 67 degrees. We will see increasing clouds and windy conditions on Easter Sunday. Winds will be blowing out of the the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour.
The clouds and moisture will continue to increase for the first part of the workweek. There is a pretty decent chance for showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Drier air will return for the latter half of the week. Daytime highs will remain in the low to mid 80’s.
