CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some fog and a few isolated showers across portions of the Coastal Bend this morning. This will give way to partly sunny skies and rather warm conditions this afternoon. The forecast calls for an afternoon high around 86 degrees today. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tonight we are looking for the possibility of increasing shower activity with an overnight low around 69 degrees. We could see a larger complex of storms roll through area on Sunday morning. Some of these storms could produce some heavy rainfall and gusty winds and abundant lightning. It should start to clear late in the afternoon. Look for an afternoon high around 81 degrees tomorrow.

It will be rather nice and tranquil for much of the week ahead. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 80’s with a mixture of sunshine and clouds each day. The next front will be arriving late week. This should lead to another chance of showers and cooler temperatures on Friday.
