CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some cooler temperatures across the Coastal Bend this morning. Most areas are in the 40’s and 50’s. However, it will be a pretty nice afternoon. Look for abundant sunshine with a daytime high around 68 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for increasing clouds and cool temperatures. Expect an overnight low around 51 degrees.

Another surge of cold air will be moving into South Texas this weekend. This will bring us a lot of clouds and drizzle. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 50’s with overnight lows in the 40’s. Some of the wet weather may linger through Monday. Drier conditions are expected for New Year’s Day. The forecast for Tuesday calls for partly sunny skies with a daytime high of 59 degrees. Temperatures will continue to cool down for the middle part of the week. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 30’s Wednesday and Thursday.
