Corpus Christi – We are waking to some rather thick fog this morning here in the Coastal Bend. A dense fog advisory has been issued through 9 am. This will give way to partly sunny skies and a little cooler temperatures this afternoon. This is a result of a weak frontal boundary that will move through late morning. The forecast for today calls for partly sunny skies with a daytime high around 70 degrees. The winds will shift to the northeast this afternoon. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and mild conditions. Look for an overnight low around 53 degrees.

We will see increasing moisture and clouds for the first half of the holiday week. This could lead to a few isolated showers on Christmas Day. However, most people will remain dry with sunny and warm conditions for the holiday. There is a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday night. This is when the next Pacific front will make it’s way across Texas. Daytime highs this week will mostly be in the low to mid 70’s with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s.
