Warmer air will briefly move into South Texas ahead of a strong cold front arriving on Thursday morning. There will be a lot of wind behind the front Thursday and Friday along with cold overnight lows due to a biting wind and very dry air.
Tonight will be damp and milder although still chilly with a low of 54 under mostly cloudy skies.
Wednesday will be cloudy breezy and continued milder with lots of clouds and a high of 72.
Wednesday night will be breezy and very mild with a few showers mainly near the coast and a low of 62.
Thursday expect clearing skies becoming very windy and very dry with a high of 74 early then temperatures fall into the 50’s around sunset.
Thursday night will be cold with a low near 40 and wind chill factor in the low 30’s.
Winds will gust between 40 and 50 mph Thursday afternoon.
