Unsettled weather is expected as Gulf and Pacific moisture combine with a cold front and upper level disturbance converging over South Texas. Many areas will see our normal monthly December rain in a little more than one day as the atmosphere will be rather unstable. Much cooler air will follow the storm system on through the first half of next week.
Friday will be breezy warm and humid with scattered thundershowers and a high of 76 under cloudy skies.
Friday night showers and thunderstorms likely with locally heavy rain and a low of 56.
Saturday showers will end from west to east across the area in the morning breezy and much cooler and less humid with a high of only 64.
Sunday will be chilly with a morning low in the 40’s and an afternoon high of only 58 in spite of sunny skies.
