Corpus Christi – We are waking up to some cooler temperatures this morning in the Coastal Bend. Many areas have dropped into the low to mid 50’s. However, it should warm up nicely this afternoon. The forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 80 degrees. We can expect mostly light winds blowing from the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we will have another clear and crisp evening. Look for an overnight low around 57 degrees.
A stronger cold front will roll through the area on Monday morning. This will bring breezy to windy conditions in the afternoon and evening. No rain is expected with the frontal passage. It will also bring much cooler temperatures for the middle part of the workweek. Daytime highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will only be in the low to mid 60’s with overnight lows in the 40’s. Increasing moisture will give us a slight chance of showers on Thursday and Friday.
