CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend here in the Coastal Bend. However, we are waking up to a bit of fog this morning. A dense fog advisory has been issued for our bays and off shore waters. A weak front is rolling through that will push a lot of the moisture out of South Texas. This will give us a lot of sunshine and drier air both today and tomorrow. The forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 81 degrees. Expect light winds out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 57 degrees. We will see abundant sunshine on Sunday with a daytime high around 80 degrees.
A stronger cold front will move through the area on Monday. This will bring us much cooler temperatures for the first half of the workweek. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 60’s with overnight lows in the 40’s Tuesday through Thursday. Increasing moisture will bring us a decent change for showers late in the week. A gradual warm up is also expected.
