Corpus Christi – It was a beautiful and warm start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw abundant sunshine with a daytime high of 82 degrees this afternoon. We had a frontal boundary that moved through earlier ushering in some drier air. This will lead to a little cooler temperatures overnight. The forecast for this evening calls for mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 55 degrees. Tomorrow we can expect mostly sunny skies again with a daytime high of 80 degrees. The winds will be light out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
A stronger cold front will move through South Texas on Monday. This will mostly be a dry front. However, it will bring us some rather windy conditions Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will also drop off quite a bit for the middle part of the week. Daytime highs will only be in the lower to mid 60’s with overnight lows in the 40’s. Increasing moisture will bring us a chance of showers on Thursday and Friday.
