A wet weekend but not a washout

Rich tropical moisture will continue to increase and pool ahead of a weak cold front that will stall north of the area through Sunday before moving east of the region. Rainfall activity will gradually be on the rise and the weekend looks pretty wet especially from noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday. The tropics are basically quiet with no threat of anything coming here.

Friday expect considerable cloudiness mixed with some sunshine very humid and hot with only isolated thundershowers and a high of 92. Heat index of 105.

Friday night will be very warm and stuffy with less wind isolated coastal showers and a low of 78.

Saturday showers and thundershowers likely especially by afternoon light winds and a high of 88.

Additional rain is expected Saturday night through noon on Sunday. Some of the rain will cause localized flooding in flood prone areas.
