Abundant tropical moisture will continue to move in from the Gulf as a broad weak low pressure circulation moves slowly westward across the Coastal Bend. This will produce locally heavy rain that will fall on already saturated ground and produce localized flooding. Rain will gradually move west into the Brush country and we will slowly begin to dry out near the coast and here in the city.
A flash flood watch is in effect.
Early this morning and today expect numerous tropical downpours with some areas getting an additional 4-5 inches of rain mainly this morning then gradually shifting west and ending by this evening with very humid high of only 85.
Tonight will be warm and sticky with only an isolated shower and a low of 74.
Sunday we will start to dry out with a lot more sun very humid and hotter with a high of 89.
Stay dry and don’t drive on flooded roadways.
