Thundershowers are expected to return to the Coastal bend today and likely get stronger as we head into the weekend. A tropical wave named Invest 95 will approach the coast by Friday and produce heavier thunderstorms for the region. Storm totals will be in the 4 – 6 inch range. Since we have had significant rain over the past week we are likely to see flooded roadways and low lying areas. County roads will also be impacted. Driving will be treacherous over the weekend.
