CORPUS CHRISTI -It looks like we are going to see some pretty wet weather for the end to the weekend and into early next week. A frontal boundary is going to stall just to our north. This combined with abundant tropical moisture is going to lead more widespread showers and thunderstorms. It looks like the heaviest rainfall will be possible late Sunday and into Monday. Brief heavy rainfall will be possible with some of these storms. This could lead to some localized flooding.
The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers and thunderstorms. Look for an overnight low around 75 degrees. Tomorrow we can expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. The daytime high will only be in the upper 80’s. The potential for heavy rainfall will continue through at least Tuesday. A little drier and warmer conditions are expected for the latter half of the workweek.
