and above normal temperatures. Combined with low level moisture,
the result will be oppressive and dangerous heat.
* TEMPERATURE…Heat index values between 111 and 115 degrees.
* IMPACTS…An increased risk of heat-related illnesses
including heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
A Heat Advisory is issued when the heat index…a measure of how
it feels when temperature and humidity are combined…equals or
exceeds 111 for 2 hours or more during the day.
