A unique partnership has been formed between the local non-profit Texas Sealife Center and locally owned and operated Radiology Associates.

Together, the Center rescues injured animals like endangered sea turtles, dolphin and birds and takes them to Radiology Associates where they’ll get various testing done, at no cost.

Veterinarian and Director of the Sealife Center, Dr. Tim Tristan says the help they’re receiving leaves a lasting impact on our environment.

“These are the canaries in the coal mine” Tristan says.”They are the animals that are telling us about the health of our environment. That helps us to identify what we can do to help improve.”

Texas Sealife Center is open to the public. They also welcome volunteers and donations. Visit their website for more information: https://www.texassealifecenter.org/
