A man has been arrested and taken into custody in connection with the shooting of rapper and philanthropist Nipsey Hussle outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles.
Police had identified Eric Holder as a suspect in the shooting.
Holder was arrested after a member of the public called police to report seeing him in Bellflower, the LAPD said in a news release.
He was taken to an LAPD lockup where he was expected to be booked for murder, according to officials.
In addition to allegedly killing Hussle, whose legal name was Ermias Asghedom, the Sunday shooting wounded two other people.
On Tuesday, LAPD Chief Michel Moore said the victim and suspect were in some sort of argument before the suspect left the area and returned with a handgun.
After the shooting, the suspect ran to a nearby alley where a getaway car was waiting.
