Continuing thundershowers will soak the Coastal Bend through the remainder of the week. With the rain, low water crossings and other low lying areas will quickly flood during the showers. Drive safely. The tropical system in the Gulf has NOT organized and will likely continue as a tropical wave across the Gulf. The wave will help to bring heavy rain to the region by Friday Saturday. With any luck it will be past our area by Sunday. With some sun expected on Monday.
