The Texas Workforce Commission says people who choose not to return to work because of the COVID-19 pandemic can still receive their benefits for certain reasons. That includes:
- people considered at high risk.
- those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have a family member with the virus
- people under quarantine; and,
- people who have no childcare alternatives.
