CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx. — The Texas A&m Corpus Christi women's basketball team defeated Lamar 49-39 on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Islanders improve to 11-6 overall on the season and 5-2 in Southland Conference play.
Dalesia Booth led the Islanders in scoring with 11 points while Alexes Bryant was right behind her with nine points and eight rebounds.
The Islanders will travel to New Orleans on Wednesday when they play the University of New Orleans.
