Joao Trindade is a foreign exchange student from Brazil and before this year, had never played a snap of football.
However, that did not stop Calallen Football Coach, Phil Danaher, from calling Trindade’s number to kick the game-winning football against Port Lavaca Calhoun.
The district title was on the line and Trindade nailed it for the Wildcats to win the title.
